Village of Francis Creek COVID-19 Update:
Governor Evers has declared a Public Health Emergency in the State of Wisconsin. COVID-19 is a rapidly evolving situation so in the interest of Public Health and Safety the Village of Francis Creek is implementing a few changes to ensure the public health of residents.
April 7th Spring General Election and Presidential Preference Primary Voting
The Village is being as proactive as possible to ensure that we can have a safe election and everyone has the opportunity to vote. We are following instructions and guidelines from with Wisconsin Elections Commission, Centers for Disease Control, World Health Organization, and the Department of Health Services.
If you need to register to vote for the upcoming election you can do so online at myvote.wi.gov, deadline to register online or by mail for the April 7th election is March 18th (this Wednesday). After that, you can register prior to election day by registering in-person at the Village Office during our regular office hours or by appointment.
The Wisconsin Elections Commission is HIGHLY encouraging voters to vote absentee for the April 7th election. Information on how to do so can be found on myvote.wi.gov. Deadline to request an absentee ballot is April 2nd at 5PM.
On MyVote there is a three-step process that starts with putting in your name and date of birth. If you don’t already have a photo ID on file, you can upload a copy. Mobile phone users can take a picture and upload it. Absentee ballot requests submitted this way go directly to the clerk’s office.
Voters can also request absentee ballots by mailing, emailing or faxing their Name, Address, and Date of Birth to the clerk’s office. These requests must be accompanied by a copy of your photo ID. Voters who are indefinitely confined, meaning they may have difficulty getting to the polls for reason of age, illness, infirmity, or disability are not required to provide a photo ID
Mailing Address: PO Box 68, Francis Creek, WI 54214
The Village Office is open for in-person registration and absentee voting during the regular scheduled times – Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 9AM – 3PM and Tuesday 12:30PM – 6:30PM. You can also call 920-682-7410 to make an appointment with the Village Clerk.
